Intermediate Course - level 2 & 3

Have you completed a beginner course and caught the bug?

In the intermediate course we get you on the board and surfing.
Of course we start things off by checking what you have learnt and by filling in the gaps. Then we continue with the water-start and surfing safely in both directions.
We'll refine your riding position, and hopefully, in no time at all you'll be successfully sailing upwind!

Towards the end of the 10 hours course you might even be going for small jumps.

Course content:
(Progress is dependent on the individual's skill and on the weather conditions)

6-hrs Intermediate Course *

• Recapping the skills from the beginner course
• Correct kite set up
• Improving the waterstart
• trouble free sailing in both directions
• Kite trimming

10-hrs Intermediate Course *

• Right of way
• Board without a leash
• Staying upwind using the edge
• Changing direction
• Upwind sailing
• Small jumps

* max. 4 students per instructor

Riding upwind is a prerequisite for kite rental and storage.
