Located about 50 kilometres south of Hurghada, this site offers not only numerous diving bases but arguably one of Egypt's best windsurfing and kitesurfing spots.The contrast between the azure and turquoise hues of the ocean and the barren desert make this area an impressive holiday setting and will turn your kitesurfing vacation into a wind-filled desert - kitesurf experience.
Safaga itself is a small, typically Egyptian town. The Shams Safaga hotel is situated at the edge of the town, on a magnificent beach.



There is no doubt about the fact that our Skyriders kitesurfing centre occupies the best position in Safaga, on the long, extremely beautiful beach of the Shams, which is completely exposed to the wind.

Guests at the Holiday Inn have to purchase a €5 voucher to enter the grounds of the Shams.
