Safaga, Egypt
After leaving Hurghada Airport, enter the new highway travelling south in the direction of Safaga. Follow the highway for about 45 minutes (60 km) and then take the first exit before Safaga; after about 400 m, turn left in front of the Holiday Inn and drive to the end of the road, where you will find the Shams Hotel, Safaga. Or take the 2nd exit and drive to the Shams at the bottom of the road.
If guests are staying at other hotels:
| Menaville and Lotus Bay: | The centre can be reached via the beach but at least 20 min on foot. Guests can also take a minibus from in front of the hotel (price: approx.1 LE single trip) to the Club Mistral centre(at the end of the bay). |
| Paradise Hotel: | Can also be reached via the beach. About 10 min on foot (2 hotels away from us) |
| Holiday Inn: | Can also be reached via the beach. About 5 min on foot (adjacent hotel) |
| Hotels in Safaga: | Can only be reached by minibus. Travelling time: about 15 min. Cost: 1 LE each way. |
| Please note!!! | All guests who are not staying at the Shams Hotel must pay a minimum charge of EUR 5 to the hotel. They can then go to the Shams beach bar and eat and drink for this amount. |
