Location: Shams Prestige Resort is located on the outskirts of Soma Bay, between the well-known Hotel Imperial Shams Abu Soma and our Skyriders Center. It sits right on the beautiful sandy (private) beach. The Skyriders Center is just steps away and even our Club Mistral Center can be reached in a short walk along the beach. This new 5 star resort with exceptional service completes the range of Shams Hotels in Safaga.

Amenities and facilities: The boutique style resort consists of 67 charming rooms, arranged in one- and two-storey bungalow buildings. It features a non-smoking buffet restaurant, one terrace restaurant, a chill-out bar and a pool-/beach bar. The bungalows are located on either side of the fresh water swimming pool (heated in winter). Beach and pool chairs and towels as well as parasols are provided free of charge.

A separate Spa area will be opening soon between the Shams Prestige and Imperial Shams Hotels. The Spa will offer sauna, steam room, whirlpool and various wellness and beauty treatments at extra charge.  

Rooms: All double rooms are comfortably furnished with modern amenities such as walk-in shower, separate WC, hair dryer, walk-in closet (Superior only), air conditioning, flat screen TV with international channels, safe, telephone, mini bar, tea & coffee maker and balcony or terrace. Rooms either feature one king size bed or two double size beds. The standard rooms are about 40 m² in size and are located on the ground floor in the second row, thus they only provide limited, partial sea view. The superior rooms are more spacious with 64 m². Most of them have direct sea views and feature a private Jacuzzi on the balcony or terrace.   
Wireless internet is available with a USB stick. 30 min per day are free of charge. The charges are 4 EUr for 1 hr or 25 EUR for 1 day.

Board basis: All Inclusive - buffet breakfast between 07am and 10am at the main restaurant, lunch menu from 01pm – 03pm and dinner a la carte between 07pm and 10pm. Lunch and dinner will be served a la carte with a salad and dessert buffet.

Also included: Ice cream 12-06pm, tea time with cakes & snacks 03-05pm, midnight snack 11:30pm – 01am, soft drinks 24 hrs, local alcohol 10am – 06am, daily refill of the minibar with soft drinks and water, “Intro Dive” free diving introduction, one free massage per room (20 minutes), one free access to sauna and steam room per person, 30 minutes free internet per day

Sports: Gym, squash, tennis, volleyball, billiards, table tennis and mini golf is free of charge (at Imperial Shams)

Children under the age of 6 yrs are not allowed at Hotel Shams Prestige. Children 6 yrs and vover pay the full adult rate. Please note there are no children's facilities at the hotel. Babies on request.

Our opinion: A really nice added value in Safaga, indeed. We strongly recommend the superior rooms. Though the private jacuzzi is rather small, you will enjoy great sea views. Ask us for the rooms right next to our Skyriders Center.
