Our Team Member of the Month September 2009 is Petra Brunner!
The most important thing to say about her can actually be said in one single sentence:
She is a great person through and through and she is "an enrichment" to our team but even that would be a huge understatement!
Petra has been working in our head office for almost 3 years now and takes care of the fashion for all of the Club Mistral shops all over the world, the logistics and the teams – a variety of duties which are definitely quite demanding, but which are fulfilled by Petra perfectly thanks to her experience and thanks to her wonderful personality.
She attained her experience and the necessary know-how thanks to her training in the hotel business but also due to her having been working in the windsurfing and service section since the early ‘80s.
Back in the early days of windsurfing, Petra already had one of the first windsurfing centers at the Walchensee, a quite famous spot in Bavaria, as well as a little shop which belonged to her.
By the way … guess who was working for her as a windsurf instructor…. Mr. Rene himself – now the manager of our Logistic & HR sector. That´s a long time ago…
However, maybe that is why he is now literally in her grip and she not only has him, but also the rest of the guys from logistics well and truly under control!
She knows what she wants and how to get it, and thanks to her, “woman power” gets a completely new meaning.
Here in the head office she is unbelievably motivated and does a fantastic job! Why?
Not only because she is very reliable, accurate and correct, but she is also a very social, always active and loveable person at the same time and fits perfectly in our team.
She´s almost always in a good mood, has an exceptional charisma and having her around is just fun!
To cut it short: Petra is a multi-talented gem with a great personality! 
In her private life she is also always active and on the move.
No matter if it´s windsurfing, mountain biking, skiing or hiking, she just loves to do any kind of sport and in case she´s not busy enough with that, her two sons also keep her on the move!
However, Petra also likes some peace from time to time.
She adores cooking ( and she’s very good at it ) or loves to relax on the sofa – book in the one hand, a glass of bubbly in the other!
Maybe this is the secret of her being such a balanced, relaxed and likeable person; the combination of a very active life and a very calm and relaxed personality.
She just seems to be so incredibly grounded and has such a nice charisma that everyone around her feels calm too! 
Petra: having you around is great, you are great, and working with you is great! So you have to stay with us forever!! Anyway, you wouldn´t really have choice as we just wouldn´t let you go!
